"Special Made" Kawai Pianos

2014/06/25

Many people have witnessed the pianos with the letter "S" or "C" followed by the model name of KAWAI pianos (such as after "BL61"). Have you heard the meaning of the letters? The letters of "S" and "C" are mostly taking the initial of "Special" and "Custom," and designed and released as memorial models. Some of those special models have Renner Hammer Felts, mahogany hammer woods, silver nickel-coated tuning pins, decorations on upper front panel, brass decoration around the pedals, though they are not equipped with all special pianos. We can see that what those "special made" pianos indicate is the craftmen's proud of their manufacturing skill and aspiration toward producing high-quality pianos.
